What Manitoban beverage stewards and first importers need to know

Companies that produce and distribute beverages in Manitoba are now required join a program like CBCRA or provide a Program Plan to the Government that shows how they will achieve a 75% recovery rate through a province-wide program.

The recovery targets all kinds of beverage containers – water, energy drinks, pop, soy milk and more. The only beverage containers that aren’t currently included are dairy beverages such as milk, yogurt shakes and flavoured milks.
